The presence of FKB in the mining segment grows every day. One of our customers, a North American miner, globally known for producing a wide variety of minerals, special alloys and aluminum, has had our expertise in designing and installing many knife gate valves in their ore tailings plant.

 
The equipment was designed to control and block solid-mass mineral pulp, including medium / high pressure parts up to 300 Lbs (20.6 bar). The VGU-05 (Wafer) and VGU-11-300 (Flanged) FKB valves were powered by an electric actuator, specially prepared for this supply, with emergency handwheel actuation, thus ensuring total blockage in the flow of fluids and meeting the needs of the customer with high performance and safety.
