Basic Sanitation has as main objective the continuous improvement of the quality of life of many Brazilians. FKB, which is committed to environmental and sustainability policies, is concerned with the development of our economy and infrastructure, participated in a major project of a Rio de Janeiro state-owned construction company (CEDAE), which will guarantee the containment of sewage from the Marina da Glória region and the construction of water supply and sanitation works in the Pontal Oceânico neighborhood.

In this last place, will be built water reservoir with capacity for 5 million liters, directly benefiting a population of 50 thousand people, among other reforms to offer improvements to Rio de Janeiro.

The FKB penstocks provided for this project were built in special stainless steel alloy, resistant to sea water and are driven by electric actuators, customized for each equipment. In addition to the manufacture of valves and penstocks, part of our portfolio is the monitoring and supervision of the installation of all our equipment, which contributed to this supply being included in our history of success and participation in major projects in the segment.
