Seeking to develop another great solution to mining industry in general, FKB launches a ‘Heavy Duty’ Knife Gate Valve model VGU-53 / VGU-53HP, made of special materials, prepared to attend processes with aggressive and abrasive fluids with a high pressure of 300 to 740Lbs (21 to 50 Bar).

After its development and several tests, FKB had the pleasure of already provide equipment of this model for two major mining industry companies: initially 20" equipment with automatic actiuation were installed in the implementation of Automation System for Pumping System Tailings at Paragominas Bauxite Mine, owned by Hydro, global mining company.

And in Ferrous Resources, 12" valves with pneumatic operation, are used in iron extraction and beneficiation, in the Iron Square Area of Minas Gerais.
