FKB wins bid for equalization and modernization of the blocking and control system of the Santos Channels. The investment of approximately R$ 2.4 million from the City of Santos, has as its final objective, the design, manufacture and installation of 10 AISI 316 stainless steel penstocks, which will be powered by intelligent electric actuators with Modbus Protocol. These will be connected to the Bosch Automation System, and communication, operation, control and operation of the gates will be totally remote. These new equipment has as objective the containment of rainwater, which generates inconveniences to the population with floods.

In this great project and partnership, FKB will also be responsible for the removal of old penstocks, which are deteriorated and therefore, do not perform their function properly, making water control unfeasible during heavy rains.
